Isra Mi’raj Meaning for Muslims | The Isra Mi’raj event is the spiritual journey of the Prophet Muhammad from the Haram Mosque to the Aqsa Mosque which is very dramatic and fantastic. In a short time less than overnight (minal lail) but the Prophet managed to penetrate the spiritual layers that are very far even to the top (Sidratil Muntaha). Although it happened in an instant, but the memory of the Prophet Muhammad succeeded in copying a very dense spiritual experience there.

Actually the Isra-Mi’raj event has two kinds of events. First, a horizontal trip from the Haram Mosque to the Aqsa Mosque. And second, the vertical journey from the Aqsa Mosque to Sidratil Muntaha. The Isra journey may still be detected by science and technology, but Mi’raj’s journey is totally beyond the brain’s ability of the human mind.

In general, Muslims have at least learned that from the incident of Isra Mi’raj this mandate of the obligatory five-time prayer obligation for Muslims began.

Within a day and a night, Muslims were obliged to perform Fajr prayer two rak’ahs, the midnight prayer in the afternoon as much as four rak’ahs, the Asr prayer four rak’ahs in the afternoon, Maghrib prayer three rak’ahs in the evening, and Isha prayer followed ‘in the evening four rak’ahs.

The short trip (Isra Mi’raj Meaning) managed to record various spiritual scenes for the Prophet Muhammad, and should be used as lessons and wisdom for Muslims. Because, the night’s journey, has aroused a new spirit of the Prophet in spreading Islamic da’wah.
