Al-Ikhlas Word By Word Meaning | Surah Al-Ikhlas (Arabic: الإخلاص, “Purifying the Oneness of Allah”) is the 112th surah in the Qur’an. This Surah is classified as Surah Makkiyah, consisting of 4 verses and the main point is to emphasize the oneness of Allah while rejecting all forms of fellowship with Him. The core sentence of this surah, “Allahu ahad, Allahus shamad” (Allah Almighty, Allah, the dependent place), often appears in the gold dinar in the days of the Caliphate. So, sometimes this sentence is considered as the slogan of the Khilafah Islamiyah state, along with two sentences of Shahada.
